About Shanon
Shanon Schneider has held a lifelong interest in all things artistic. Initially self-taught in Syracuse, New York, she took art electives at Potsdam University, studied at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, and continued with workshops after relocating to Roswell, Georgia in 2002. In 2007 she opened Two Doors Art, a co-op studio and gallery, which became Synergy Fine Art in 2009. Since then she has focused and refined her work in colorful and impressionistic abstracts, landscapes, still lifes, and figures.
Her paintings begin without a tangible reference — they grow out of the interaction of paint on canvas and the evolution of emotion within the creative process. The abstract nature of the work is an invitation: it draws viewers in and leaves room for their own interpretation. Today Shanon paints at the Urban Art Collective in Chamblee, Georgia, exhibits at The Loft Gallery in Marietta, and her works hang in private collections throughout the country.
“The creative process fuels my soul and tethers me to the world in a way unlike any other endeavor. Art leaves a legacy of a moment in time — a magical interplay between the artist and the tangible world.”
